Details

Steward Diru became a government teacher in 1957 after obtaining his qualifications in Fiji, and served for some years as Headmaster of Hauhui School in 'Are'are on Malaita. He transferred to the Medical Department in January 1963, where he became a Health Officer Trainee. Diru received further training through a Diploma Course in Content and Method of Health Education at London University. (NS 15 June 1963)
