Jocelyn (later Sir Jocelyn) Bodilly was born in 1913. He served as a High Court Judge in the Sudan (1946-1955), Crown Counsel in Hong Kong (1955-1961) and Principal Crown Council in Hong Kong (1961-1965). In June 1965 he was appointed as the second Chief Justice of the Western Pacific, a position he held until he retired in 1975. (NS 15 June 1965)
