Details
British volunteers (VSOs) began coming to the Protectorate in 1960. In 1963, fourteen young men and women arrived and were placed with government departments, District Commissioners, the Geological Survey, the Malaria Eradication Pilot Project and church schools. (AR 1963-1964, 47)
