Cultural Artefact: Kukum Labour-Lines

Details

Construction of the Kukum Labour Lines to house government labourers began in April 1961, replacing Quonset buildings used earlier. The last of these houses, now extremely dilapidated, are still in use. (NS Apr. 1961)
