In 1965, four members of the British House of Commons, John Horner, Brian Harrison, Fred Blackburn and Sir William Robson-Brown agreed to be regarded as 'Friends of the Solomons' for the purpose of hosting any government-sponsored Solomon Islanders. (NS 21 Apr. 1966)
